Arctic Survival
Learn winter wilderness skills
Northern Norway is a beautiful and wild part of the world. Its dramatic landscapes and shimmering skies give the place an otherworldly feel. But life here can be unforgiving, especially in winter. The weather shifts fast.
One moment it’s sunny, the next, a snowstorm. In the wilderness, it’s essential to know how to stay warm, dry, and safe.
Your adventure starts with a snowshoe trek towards a frozen lake. Once there, we will teach you how to secure a camp and stay protected even in the harshest conditions.
You will learn techniques for fire making in the snow, a skill that can be challenging, especially in rough weather.
We’ll show you how to cook simple, delicious meals over the crackling fire.
This is a taste of arctic self-reliance. You’ll bring home new practical skills, fresh confidence, and a deeper respect for the raw nature of the far north.
